Media releases Big Dog Accepts Challenge at Horizons' Father's Day Fun Day Wednesday, 3 September 2003 Horizons Golf Resort will be holding it’s annual free family fun day to celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday 7 September 2003 from 11am to 3pm and invites families in the region to a multitude of fun activities and entertainment to enjoy. Entertainment will be provided for the whole family including a special appearance by Big Dog, live entertainment by soloist Clayton Crosbie, Ruby the Clown, touch tank, face painting, jumping castle and some old favourite activities like sack races. Children have also been invited to draw a picture of dad and bring it along on the day to win one of many fantastic prizes. The first 200 children will receive a free showbag filled with some fun treats! Guests can bring a picnic blanket and relax on the grassy terrace on NSW’s premier resort course and enjoy a range of snacks including sausage and steak sandwiches, satay chicken kebabs or coffee and cake from just $2.00. Champagne, beer, wine and soft drinks all available by the glass (no BYO). If guests have forgotten to buy Dad his Father’s Day present, they can choose from a range of gift ideas from our Pro Shop and even purchase a gift voucher so Dad can select himself. General Manager Simon Brown said “This is an opportunity for locals in the region to experience Horizons as a family venue and enjoy the spectacular views and great activities we have to offer. Horizons holds two large community events in our Annual Calendar of Events and we enjoy sharing our resort with families in the region. Last year we had over 500 locals attend our Father’s Day Fun Day and we received some great feedback saying they would definitely return next year.” |
