Appointment of New Golf Professional at Horizons

Horizons Golf Resort has appointed highly qualified golf professional Trevor Tutt to the position of Golf Professional.

Trevor bring to Horizons a wealth of experience, industry knowledge and joins Horizons from the Waratah Golf Club where he held the position of golf professional.

Trevor has grown up in the golf arena since a young boy and worked under the supervision of his father at Waratah Golf Club since 1999. Trevor is a AA rated Australian PGA Member but expects to be AAA rated by the end of 2004. Tutt has spent a considerable amount of time with Gary Edwin (teacher to Peter Lonard, Rod Pampling, Peter Senior) over the last 6 years to increase his skills as a golf instructor. Tutt is also a coach with the Hunter Academy of Sport which is an elite program for young junior golfers within the region.

General Manager, Mike Orloff said “We are very fortunate to have been able to attract a golf professional of Trevor’s calibre to join the Horizons team. Trevor brings a wealth of experience and offers some outstanding attributes to the Resort”.

Tutt said “I am delighted to join Horizons Golf Resort as Head Professional and look forward to building a strong relationship with our members and golfing enthusiasts visiting the resort.
